This golem is a creation of the Apaches.
It's the guardian of one of their sanctuaries.
It was created from the grave of a famous war criminal from Australia who slaughtered several Native American clans during the Civil War. He was nicknamed "Ned". When he died, the people of the Apaches stole his body by desecrating his burial. It was not easy and many warriors died during the operation. Following a pagan ritual, Ned's body was filled with fertile soil containing a sacred medicinal plant with magical virtues. The Apaches amased a pile of stone coated with this same fertilizer having the appearance of a colossus. At the top they put the grave and a totem. The Apaches began to pray to the god who fled there, the Thunderbird, protector of nature. One night, a storm burst and lightning repeatedly hit the spot where Ned's body was buried under the rock. It was alive !
